There should have been some spots that found them in there. Odu should have been in and NC state should have been as well.
So, in my mind, outside of the Texas realm, because there are a few teams in Texas that got snubbed and I'm sure we're to talk about here soon. And then they didn't even let noted, or n see state joined the tournament as well, which is to me it was crazy. They gave Notre Dame, not a host site or not even really a top sixteen seed, which was surprising to me. So we had a conversation during the preview a couple months ago how we went through conference by conference. I know we're going to focus on Texas that were that gave me a lot of question marks. So I'm not sure why old the minion was snub there's a couple of the east coast over here too. Pretty sure they're the fifth team in the country. But Old Dominion beat Virginia, who, if I'm not sure, quote me if I'm wrong. So seeing seeing some just you know, some super super seniors really take off for old the minion was really cool and it's hard for me for to justify od you being snubbed with, you know, with no bias here, after sweeping arguably the hottest team in the country right now, ECU, and and I'll obviously was this an exhibition games? It was just the one game series. He was great, but there were some guys that step up, like Matt Cootney and just the pitching staff was amazing. You know, I've talked about how I fought Carter trice was going to be amazing. I mean there are at the top of the leader boards for home runs for the entire country.
I thought this was really good year for them. What do you think? Well, obviously I'm hurt from it because this was a great season ex pretty obviously for old the Minium Ale, the MONTER that was. I don't know what your feelings are on it. These two schools, he's two programs, were almost close and schedule and they got snubbed. And when we look at the strength of schedule, like I mentioned you, Jes says I sixty four old the means as seventy. So you just say ranked thirty six in RPI. Because you look at Christian, your team, Old Dominion, they got snubbed as well, hard at, hardcore, hardcore. I don't know about you, but that's just wrong. You know, they had a strength of schedule overall at a number sixty four, but they got snubbed. So, but UTSA overall record of thirty eight and twenty. Screw School Program History's you know, you just say it's just a small school in San Antonio, but they've kind of come on, specially with in the conference USA, and they they were snub they were snub now they had one of the, like I mentioned, one of the best records and program history when we look at our Pi, right, that's one of the things that basically the electorial committee, I don't even know what you call them, but a normin yeah, I guess I'm being Nice Right. UTSA had probably one of the most best seasons in their school hits. So we're going to touch on that real quick before we break into our regionals which are coming up. But we have some that were snubbed, even your teams that were snubbed as well. The Road Omaha is officially underway and it's going to be exciting because there's a lot of great teams, specially a lot of our Texas teams that are in the tournament that made it into the field of sixty four. We got the conference championships, there are have been one that's over now and we're now it's time for talking in sea. This is great because right before the season started we kind of did our predictions to kind of see how everything would kind of pan out, and now we've actually played the season. It is gonna be fun to Talk Abou out this. Last time I was on the show we had a college baseball preview and now we're talking where we're at for the super regionals and now the world series.
